Matt has worked in online development and search strategy for over 15 years, and has worked with some of Australia’s largest online businesses, as well as many smaller and newer websites.

First Focus

First Focus specialises in IT and network management for businesses from 10 to 500 users. It is a full service IT business offering hardware, software, ISP, telephone and hosted solutions.

Matt has helped First Focus to

- relaunch its public website; - improve the business processes to increase productivity and profitability; - upgrade its IT system to include business dashboards, advanced reporting and business process rule enforcement.

Fairfax Digital

Matt has helped Fairfax Digital to

University of New South Wales (UNSW), School of Information Technology

Matt has been a guest lecturer to postgraduate students on ‘Decision Support Systems’.

Primus Telecom

Matt worked with Primus Telecom in 2003 to analyse system requirements for provisioning and management of private IP networks managed by Primus. He also developed a system, complete with automated regression unit testing and automated deployment, to allow for easy upgrading and maintenance by other developers.

Start Corporation

Matt worked with Start Corporation (now bCode) to convert products from ASP based development cycle into COM/VB objects. He redesigned the affiliate software implementation process, and automated the customisation processes, to overcome growth constraints.
